A Brief History - The Shisha Pipe
Shisha pipe is a waterpipe which dates back to the 16th century, when smoking tobacco became popular especially in high society. The shisha pipe was invented in an attempt to purify the smoke through the glass water-filled base. Other names you may have heard of are; hubble-bubble (or hubbly bubbly as we like to call it), narghile, goza, argileh or another more widely known name the hookah pipe.
